Unleashing the power of words, I am a storyteller, dedicated to inspiring and captivating audiences. With an innate ability to weave narratives that resonate deeply, I transform complex ideas into compelling tales that spark curiosity and ignite change.
I have been speaking publicly for over 9 years, delivering informative and inspiring messages to audiences across multiple contexts including conferences, retreats, faith communities, and foster care/adoption organizations. With a background in social work, I bring a unique perspective to my teachings.
I grew up as a "birth kid," my parents having fostered and adopted. My husband and I now have six children - four through adoption and two by birth.
I obtained my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Bible, which equipped me with a comprehensive skillset to both study and teach Scripture effectively. For two years, I served on the Board of Directors of my faith community.
I founded With Siblings in 2022, an organization dedicated to supporting birth children in foster and adoptive families by equipping parents and professionals through training and resources.

As an author, I crafted a children's book that invites readers to consider that they are seen and valuable – just because of who they are, not because of anything they have done.
In speaking about my journey growing up as a birth kid in a foster/adoptive family, I weave examples from my own life to create a story full of challenge, hope, grief, and inspiration. I know, first-hand what it's like to be a birth kid in a foster/adoptive family. I know what it's like to feel forgotten and invisible. And I'm not alone in my story. I bring a genuine connection with the audience, blending relatable stories from my own life, and practical insights to create a memorable and thought-provoking experience.
In teaching the Bible, each session is an opportunity to explore the profound depths of Scripture, bringing its lessons to life with clarity and enthusiasm. My approach combines deep theological insights with relatable, real-world applications, helping ancient texts resonate with contemporary audiences. Whether in a church, a small group, or a conference setting, my mission is to illuminate the transformative power of God's Word, inspiring a deeper understanding of Him.
